COERCIVE CONTROL COACHING PROGRAM

Small Group Intensive Coaching and Training

COERCIVE CONTROL OVER CHILDREN: TELLING THEIR STORY

Dr. Ellerman is now offering a small group training and coaching program to mothers experiencing ongoing coercive control. With “Coercive Control over Children: Telling their Story,” Dr. Ellerman will train six protective mothers on coercive control over children, and lead them through exercises to create a master narrative, which they can then draw from to use in Family Court or other venues. Sessions have been designed to methodically build knowledge and to work through parts of the Master Narrative.

Participants will also gain clarity on how to describe the tactics of coercive control/domestic abuse that impact or are used directly against their children, and how to link the changes/impacts on their children with the tactics. They learn about how the abusive and controlling parent uses certain narratives to discredit and silence them, especially post-separation—both so they can anticipate this tactic, but also so they can can strategize how to tell their children’s story in a way that points out or challenges the harmful DARVO tactics.

Small Group Coaching Program Fee: $600 for 5 classes (10+ hours total)

For the cost of approximately one hour of attorney fees, participants will receive 10 hours of training and coaching, and not only come away with a solid understanding of coercive control, how to describe their children’s experiences, and a Master Narrative, but will also receive:

  • Complete List of Forms and Tactics of Coercive Control

  • Worksheets to Build Master Narrative

  • Master Narrative Guide

  • $50 Coupon for Abuse Prevention/Restraining Order Workshop or Coaching Program

The other coaching program which will be offered upon request is “Preparing for an Abuse Prevention Order.”
